IGCSE Revision

IGCSE (International GCSE) is broadly equivalent to GCSE but designed for international schools. Content is similar but IGCSE sometimes goes slightly deeper in certain areas. Exam style can be different too - often more straightforward questions with less real-world context. Both are well-respected qualifications.

We cover Cambridge International and Edexcel International - the two main IGCSE providers. Each has different specifications and assessment styles, so we make sure our content matches your specific board.

Currently we support Maths, Biology, Chemistry, English Language, and English Literature. These are the core IGCSE subjects that most international students take. We're planning to add more subjects based on demand.

Absolutely. Extended tier includes everything in Core plus additional content and depth - roughly equivalent to GCSE Foundation and Higher. We adapt our content to whichever tier you're sitting.

IGCSE sciences include practical exams or alternatives to practical. We cover experimental design, data analysis, and the types of questions that appear in these assessments. Understanding what examiners want is half the battle.

The grading systems are similar. IGCSE uses A*-G traditionally (though Cambridge now uses 9-1 for some subjects). Universities and employers understand the equivalence. An A* at IGCSE is roughly equivalent to grade 9/8 at GCSE.

Usually at the end of Year 11 (age 15-16), same as GCSE. Some subjects are available in January sittings as well as May/June. Cambridge offers additional exam series throughout the year depending on your location.
