The Revision Genie Creator Program ("Program") allows content creators to earn commission by referring new subscribers to Revision Genie. By joining the Program, you agree to these terms.
This Program is operated by Revision Genie Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). These terms are supplementary to our main Terms and Conditions.
To join the Creator Program, you must:
• Be at least 18 years old, or have parental/guardian consent if aged 16-17
• Have a valid Revision Genie account in good standing
• Have an active presence on at least one social media platform or website
• Create content that aligns with educational values
• Be a UK tax resident or provide valid tax documentation for your country
We reserve the right to accept or reject any application at our discretion.
As a Creator, you will earn commission on qualifying referrals:
• Commission Rate: You will earn a percentage of each qualifying subscription payment. Your rate is displayed in your Creator Dashboard and may vary based on performance or promotional periods.
• First Payment Only: Commission is earned on the first payment made by each referred subscriber only. Subsequent renewals or payments do not generate additional commission.
• Qualifying Referrals: A referral qualifies when a new user clicks your unique link, creates an account, and makes their first paid subscription within 30 days of clicking.
We reserve the right to modify commission rates with 30 days notice. Any changes will not affect commissions already earned.
How referrals are tracked and attributed:
• Cookie Duration: When someone clicks your referral link, a tracking cookie is set for 30 days. If they sign up within this period, you receive credit.
• Last-Click Attribution: If a user clicks multiple creator links, the most recent click before signup receives the attribution.
• Self-Referrals: You cannot earn commission on your own purchases or accounts. Self-referral attempts may result in termination.
• Existing Users: Commission is only paid for new subscribers. Referring existing Revision Genie users does not qualify.
Commission payments are subject to the following terms:
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to request a payout. Creators aged 16-17 may participate in the program with parental/guardian consent, but all payouts must be requested and received by a parent or guardian on their behalf.
• Payment Recipient: All payments will be made directly to your own bank account or PayPal account. We do not make payments to third-party accounts (except for parent/guardian accounts for under-18 creators).
• Holding Period: All commissions are held for 30 days from the date of the referred subscription. This allows for refund processing and fraud prevention.
• Minimum Payout: You must accumulate at least £50 in approved (post-holding period) commissions before requesting a payout.
• Payout Request: Payouts are not automatic. You must request a payout through your Creator Dashboard once you meet the minimum threshold.
• Payment Methods: We currently offer payments via bank transfer (UK accounts) or PayPal. You must provide accurate payment details.
• Processing Time: Payout requests are typically processed within 14 business days.
• Currency: All commissions are calculated and paid in British Pounds (GBP).
Commission may be reversed in the following circumstances:
• Refunds: If a referred subscriber requests and receives a refund within their refund period (typically 14 days), the associated commission will be reversed.
• Chargebacks: If a payment is disputed and charged back, the commission will be reversed.
• Fraudulent Activity: Commissions from fraudulent or manipulated referrals will be reversed and may result in account termination.
The 30-day holding period exists to protect both you and us from these reversals affecting already-paid commissions.
When promoting Revision Genie, you must:
• Clearly disclose your affiliate/creator relationship (e.g., "ad", "affiliate link", "sponsored")
• Make honest and accurate claims about our service
• Not make guarantees about exam results or academic performance
• Comply with ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) guidelines and platform-specific rules
• Not use spam, unsolicited messages, or deceptive practices
• Not bid on "Revision Genie" branded keywords in paid advertising
• Not impersonate Revision Genie or claim to be an official representative
You may not create fake reviews or testimonials, use cookie stuffing or click fraud, promote on adult content or gambling platforms, or use your link in ways that could damage our reputation.
Active Creators may be eligible for a complimentary Unlimited subscription:
• This benefit is provided at our discretion and may be granted upon request
• The free account is for your personal use only to help you understand and promote the platform authentically
• This benefit may be revoked if you become inactive or violate these terms
• The free account cannot be transferred or sold
You are responsible for your own tax obligations:
• Commission payments are made gross (without tax deductions unless legally required)
• You are responsible for declaring and paying any applicable taxes on your earnings
• If you earn over £1,000 in a tax year, you may need to register for Self Assessment with HMRC
• We may request tax documentation or information as required by law
We recommend consulting a tax professional if you are unsure about your obligations.
Regarding brand usage:
• You may use our brand name and logo for promotional purposes as a Creator
• Do not modify our logos or create derivative marks
• Do not register domain names containing "Revision Genie" or similar
• This license is non-exclusive and may be revoked at any time
Either party may terminate participation in the Program:
• By You: You may leave the Program at any time by contacting us. Any approved unpaid commissions will still be paid.
• By Us: We may terminate your participation immediately if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or damage our reputation.
• Program Closure: We may discontinue the entire Program with 30 days notice. Earned commissions will be honoured.
Upon termination, your referral link will be deactivated, any pending commissions in the holding period may be forfeited if termination is due to violation of terms, and you must stop using our brand assets and remove promotional content if requested.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Our total liability is limited to the commission amounts actually owed to you
• We do not guarantee any level of earnings or referral success
• Technical issues affecting tracking may occur; we will make reasonable efforts to resolve disputes fairly
We may update these terms from time to time:
• Material changes will be notified via email and/or your Creator Dashboard
• Continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance
• Changes to commission rates require 30 days notice
