Let’s turn that list into a proper revision checklist you can actually use. ## Cleaned topic list I’ve kept your order but made the names clearer and consistent: 1. Synagogue – Middle Set 2. Minyan – Middle Set 3. Prayer and Worship in the Home – Middle Set 4. Shabbat – Lessons 3–6 5. The Tenakh – Lesson 5 6. Brit Milah and Brit Bat – Middle Set (Lesson 6) 7. Bar and Bat Mitzvah – Middle Set (Lesson 7) 8. Marriage – Middle Set (Lesson 8) 9. Dietary Laws – Lesson 9 10. Mourning – Lesson 9 11. Pesach 12. Rosh Hashanah – Lesson 11 13. Yom Kippur – Lesson 12 14. Judaism Exam Questions 15. Question 5 Lesson – Evaluation Practice ## How to revise each topic For each topic, do three things: know key facts, know a quote, and know how it links to life today. - Synagogue: Functions (worship, study, community), key features (Ark, bimah, ner tamid), differences Orthodox/Reform. - Minyan: What it is, when it is needed, why community matters in Judaism. - Prayer and Worship at Home: Shabbat at home, mezuzah, Shema, importance of family. - Shabbat: What Jews do, why rest matters, creation and freedom from slavery. - Tenakh: Torah, Nevi’im, Ketuvim, why scriptures are important. - Brit Milah/Bat: Covenant with Abraham, symbolism of naming and belonging. - Bar/Bat Mitzvah: Coming of age, responsibilities, differences Orthodox/Reform. - Marriage: Ketubah, chuppah, rings, blessings, idea of partnership. - Dietary Laws: Kosher/treifah, meat and milk, reasons (identity, obedience, holiness). - Mourning: Shiva, Kaddish, beliefs about life after death and respect for the dead. - Pesach: Story of Exodus, Seder plate symbols, freedom and remembering suffering. - Rosh Hashanah: New Year, judgement, shofar, reflection and change. - Yom Kippur: Atonement, fasting, forgiveness, relationship with God and others. If you tell me: - your exam board (AQA, Eduqas, etc.), and - which topics you feel weakest on, I can write you: - a focused revision question set for each topic, and - model sentence starters for 4–5 mark and “Q5” evaluation answers that you can practise with.
