Welcome!I've created this personalised lesson to help you strengthen your understanding of Learning Theories. We'll explore key concepts and practise applying them!
What are Learning Theories?Learning Theories explain how people acquire new knowledge and behaviours. They are important because they help us understand how we learn and how teaching methods can be improved.
Operant ConditioningOperant Conditioning (Skinner, 1938) focuses on how rewards and punishments shape behaviour. Positive reinforcement adds something pleasant to increase a behaviour, while negative reinforcement removes something unpleasant.
