Reader Response
The way a reader interprets and reacts to a text based on their own experiences, knowledge, and emotions.
Explicit Meaning
Information or ideas that are stated directly in the text.
Implicit Meaning
Information or ideas that are implied or inferred by the reader from the text.
Evaluation
Making critical judgements about how effectively ideas are presented and supported in a text.
Textual References
Quotations or specific examples from the text used to support a reader's evaluation or analysis.
Writer's Purpose
The reason why the writer has created the text, such as to inform, persuade, entertain, or describe.
Tone
The overall attitude or feeling conveyed by the writer through their language choices.
Perspective
The way experiences and ideas are presented from a particular position or viewpoint in the text.
Critical Judgement
A justified opinion about the effectiveness of the writer's methods and ideas, supported by evidence from the text.
Reader's Interpretation
How a reader understands and makes meaning from the text, influenced by their own context and perspective.
