Dividing fractions
To divide fractions, multiply the first fraction by the reciprocal of the second fraction.
Reciprocal of a fraction
The reciprocal of a fraction is obtained by swapping its numerator and denominator.
Step 1 in dividing fractions
Write the first fraction as it is.
Step 2 in dividing fractions
Find the reciprocal of the second fraction.
Step 3 in dividing fractions
Change the division sign to a multiplication sign.

Multiply the numerators together and multiply the denominators together.
