Isosceles triangle
A triangle with two sides of equal length and two angles of equal size.
Scalene triangle
A triangle with all sides of different lengths and all angles of different sizes.
Right-angled triangle
A triangle with one angle equal to 90°.
Exterior angle of a triangle
The exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the two opposite interior angles.
Base angles of an isosceles triangle
The base angles of an isosceles triangle are always equal.
Triangle inequality rule
The sum of the lengths of any two sides of a triangle must be greater than the length of the third side.
Area of a triangle formula
