Angles in a triangle
The sum of the angles in a triangle is always 180°.
Equilateral triangle angles
All angles in an equilateral triangle are 60°.
Isosceles triangle angles
An isosceles triangle has two equal angles and two equal sides.
Scalene triangle angles
A scalene triangle has all angles and sides of different lengths.
Right-angled triangle
A triangle with one angle equal to 90°.
Exterior angle of a triangle
The exterior angle of a triangle is equal to the sum of the two opposite interior angles.
Finding a missing angle in a triangle
Subtract the sum of the known angles from 180°.
Base angles in an isosceles triangle
The base angles in an isosceles triangle are equal.
Acute triangle
A triangle where all three angles are less than 90°.
Obtuse triangle
A triangle with one angle greater than 90° but less than 180°.
