Angles at a point
The sum of all angles around a point is 360°.
Angles on a straight line
The sum of angles on a straight line is 180°.
Reflex angle
An angle greater than 180° but less than 360°.
Full turn
A full turn around a point is equal to 360°.
Complementary angles
Two angles that add up to 90°.
Supplementary angles
Two angles that add up to 180°.
Vertically opposite angles
Angles opposite each other when two lines intersect. They are always equal.
Adjacent angles
Two angles that share a common side and a common vertex.
Measuring angles at a point
To find a missing angle at a point, subtract the sum of the known angles from 360°.
Angles in a reflex angle
To calculate the reflex angle, subtract the smaller angle from 360°.
