Angle at the centre
The angle subtended at the centre of a circle by an arc or chord.
Angle at the centre vs angle at the circumference
The angle at the centre of a circle is twice the angle at the circumference subtended by the same arc.
Angle subtended by a semicircle
The angle subtended at the circumference by a semicircle is always 90°.
Angle subtended by a diameter
The angle subtended at the circumference by a diameter is a right angle (90°).
Angles in the same segment
Angles subtended at the circumference by the same arc in the same segment are equal.
Cyclic quadrilateral
A quadrilateral where all vertices lie on the circumference of a circle.
Opposite angles in a cyclic quadrilateral
The opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral add up to 180°.
Angle subtended by an arc at the centre
The angle subtended by an arc at the centre is twice the angle subtended by the same arc at the circumference.
Arc definition
A part of the circumference of a circle.
Chord definition
